About Us

Established in 2012, our serviced apartments, a fairly new type of accommodation in Japan, received a very encouraging response by travellers and local guests. This has allowed us to grow rapidly, with a total of 5 central Tokyo locations available today and more to come soon. We provide spacious, fully furnished modern apartments with key amenities to ensure your comfort.

Why 1/3rd, you ask? The name came from the idea that about 1/3rd of a day is spent resting, that’s the part we look after. Our apartments will put you in the best possible position to enjoy the remaining 2/3rd’s of the day by offering you ultimate freedom and comfort during your stay.

At 1/3rd Residence our motto is “1/3rd the effort, triple your experience” and we do our best to ensure you will remember your time with us.
